Delete your account

Updated 30 September 2026

You can delete your Reflecta account and the data in it yourself at any time in the app. If you no longer have the app, you can ask us to delete the account by email, without reinstalling it. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Use one of the ways below.

In the app

  1. Open Reflecta on your iPhone or Android phone and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile and tap Delete Account.
  3. Confirm. Your account and its data are deleted and you are signed out.

If you cannot sign in or no longer have the app

If you have forgotten your password, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen of the app, set a new one and then delete the account as described above.

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email privacy@tryreflecta.app from the email address you use for Reflecta, with the subject line “Account deletion request”. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we delete it. Other ways to reach us are on the contact page.

Subscriptions

  • Google Play. A subscription bought in the Android app is cancelled together with your account, so it does not renew and you are not charged again.
  • App Store. Apple does not let us cancel a subscription bought in the iPhone app. Cancel it yourself on your iPhone in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions, or you will keep being charged.

A subscription of a Workspace you share with other people stays with that Workspace.

If a Google Play subscription cannot be cancelled at that moment, your account is not deleted and you are asked to try again a minute later.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete:

  • your account record, email address and name;
  • your password, sign-in sessions and verification codes;
  • the photos you uploaded and every image made from them, including all versions and exports;
  • your collections, campaigns, tags and the rest of your Workspace’s content;
  • your Workspace, its plan and its remaining Credits;
  • support messages you sent from the app;
  • the push-notification tokens of your devices.

If you share a Workspace with other people, deleting your account removes you from it; the Workspace and its content stay with the remaining members.

We send a confirmation to your email address when the deletion is complete.

What we keep, and for how long

Certain limited records may remain after deletion where necessary for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, safety or security reasons. They are no longer linked to your email address or name, except where the law or those reasons require it:

  • Cloudflare technical logs, for up to 7 days;
  • Sentry crash reports, for up to 90 days;
  • backups, which are overwritten in the normal backup cycle, normally within 30–90 days;
  • billing, tax and accounting records, normally for up to 7 years or such other period required by applicable law;
  • emails you sent to our support, privacy, abuse or legal addresses, for up to 3 years after the last message, or longer where needed for a dispute or legal claim;
  • abuse, takedown and legal complaint records, for as long as necessary to enforce our policies, prevent repeat abuse and defend legal claims;
  • payment and transaction records that Apple, Google and Stripe keep under their own policies.

The full retention schedule is in sections 16 and 17 of the Privacy Notice.
